Please read the job description carefully: Ranch Assistant Job Description: Requirements:- Clean driving record- Extensive equine knowledge- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.- Solid horsemanship skills including riding and handling- Strong knowledge of equine behavior particularly as it relates to vetting and rehabDirect Job Duties- including but not limited to: - Transporting/Attending Vet Appointments- Be able to administer medications- Wrap legs/carry out vet treatments- Assist Rehab Barn- Assist Foal Barn- Assist with Farriers- Saddle and unsaddle horses- Restock supplies- Clean up after yourselfExpectations:- Always have your eyes open to things that need to be done- Willingness to work as a team- Help out all team members across the ranch- Ability to work independently and efficientlyWe are willing to teach some of these skills to the right person.We are looking for someone that will be reliable and trustworthy.
